🔍 What makes a healthy webhook response?

HTTP 200–204: Your endpoint received the request and processed it.
HTTP 3xx: Redirects — most webhook senders do NOT follow redirects. Fix your endpoint URL.
HTTP 400: Your handler rejected the payload — signature check failed, or the body format is wrong.
HTTP 500: Handler crashed. Check your server logs. Stripe will retry up to 7 times over 72 hours.
Timeout / no response: Your handler took over 30 seconds, or the endpoint is unreachable. Stripe marks this as a failure and retries.
Latency > 5 seconds: Consider returning 200 immediately and processing async — long handlers cause timeout failures.
